Our Stories
How We Met
We always said we met in our dreams. We met on June 16th 2024. We quickly found out that there was a special connection between us that would only become stronger and stonger. It started with some jokes, for example Louis joked that Steffen was an AI Robot. So Steffen had to prove himself by doing things that any man will do to win the love of a beautiful woman, such as playing guitar. And then our story began. Our conversation moved to WhatsApp and became more special. <3
Relationship
We started chatting everyday. Our messages became sweeter and sweeter, and we both realized something very special was happening here. Because of our long distance, we had a lot of video calls until eventually August 5 2024 became date of our official relationship. And after we confessed our love we prayed together and that became a real precious moment to us. We shared playlist together on spotify and our special song became the Korean song Tell me it’s Not a Dream, because we truly were the light to each other’s darkness. In September we united in Jakarta. It was the most blessed moment in our lives when we met on CGK airport and hugged each other. We realized that God made Steffen for Louis and Louis for Steffen. We went on many adventures together and finally on February 8 2025, Steffen asked the hand of Louis.
The day
We Found God again, we found life again, we found love again, we found ourselves again. While louis was studying hard for learning the Dutch language, Steffen learned more About God and the Bible. We know that God made us meet, and we will cherish this blessing forever.
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. –Ecclesiastes 3:11 “
Now join us in the next chapter of our lives on our special day on December 28th as we will become husband and wife, with God in the center of our love.
