Our Stories
The First Meeting
It all began with a message on social media. Amallia was planning to continue her studies in the UK, choosing between Glasgow and Lancaster, where Amien had once studied. What started as a chat about university life and the experience of being a master’s student soon grew into something warmer.
The Beginning
After a few weeks of conversation, they decided to meet at a small bakmi shop in Yogyakarta. over steaming bowls of bakmi and easy laughter, they discovered a connection that went beyond shared interests and friendly advice.
Distance Between Them
When Amallia left for Glasgow, seven hours and thousands of miles separated them. Time zones tested their patience, but every call, every message, only strengthened the bond they had built.
Toward the Aisle
After more than two years together, they decided to take the next step. On December 27, 2025, they will stand together and ready to begin their greatest adventure as husband and wife.
