Love story
How We First Met
It all began at church. At that time, Aldo was serving as the youth leader, while Shinta was an active member of the youth community. Occasionally, she would ask him for help with her religion class. No one could have imagined that a seven-year age gap would one day lead to such a beautiful story. But God’s plan is always greater than anything we can picture.
Getting Closer – January 2023
Their journey started in the simplest way—a reply to an Instagram Story. From that small interaction, the conversation moved to WhatsApp, until Aldo eventually asked Shinta out for lunch. Who would have thought that this simple moment would become the beginning of something so special?
Officially Together – February 2023
After about a month of getting to know each other better, Aldo decided to express his feelings. It happened in a movie theater—straight out of a romantic film. Shinta said “yes” with a smile full of happiness, marking the official start of their love story.
The Proposal & Beyond – December 2024 to Now
By the end of 2024, Aldo prepared an unforgettable surprise: a heartfelt proposal. With joy, Shinta said “YES” once again. Just a few weeks later, they celebrated their engagement with their families, marking the start of a new chapter.
Now, they are counting down to their most awaited day—December 20, 2025. From a simple Instagram Story reply to walking down the aisle, this journey is living proof that it’s not about their plans but God’s perfect plan. Not their will, but His will be done—and that’s what makes this love story truly beautiful.
