2015: An Unexpected Beginning
Who would have thought that a love story could begin with strike-slip faults, early morning field trips, and endless hours interpreting geological maps?
It was in 2015 at UGM, that we first met. From classmates tackling stratigraphy assignments and mapping projects, we slowly grew closer—layer by layer, just like the rocks we studied.
2016: The Start of Our Journey
Our bond deepened. From conversations about minerals to sharing dreams for the future, we came to realize that what we felt was more than just friendship, it was the beginning of a commitment.
2020: Tested by Distance
Our relationship faced the challenge of distance. Salsa moved to Jakarta for work, while Fedy built his career in Surabaya. Though miles apart, our hearts remained close, the longing only made our love stronger. Meeting just two or three times a year at special events like The Sound Project or Pestapora, made those moments even more precious.
End of 2024: A Step Towards Forever
After five years of loving across cities and time zones, we knew without a doubt that we were meant to be. With hearts steady and intentions clear, Fedy came to Semarang with his family to propose, a promise that marked the beginning of a life we’ve long dreamed of together.
What started in college, tested by time and strengthened by patience, now walks gently toward forever—one step, one vow, one heartbeat at a time.
