March 2025, started as a joke from Monique’s Uni friend, who initiated the matchmaking with her colleague named Wicak. No expectation, Monique and Wicak texted for weeks and met on April 1st. Both laughed most of the time, little did we know it was the cupid’s arrow in the progress.
In just less than two months we shared our thoughts about the future and felt the same way. We wanted to walk side by side, laugh at both random motion, face the unexpected universe works and to never give up on each other.
Didn’t wait too long to meet each other’s family and asked for blessings in June. Wicak officially proposed Monique on 2nd August in Bandung, gathered with closest ones and made the day of their both families the warmest in our hearts.
Turns out God’s plan for Monique and Wicak doesn’t require much time to decide to walk on the aisle. With the faith that we had, we wouldn’t want anything more than to spend a lifetime together.
